So last semester was a big one for me, a new blog, new classes, and new mediums of art to explore. One of which was experimental animation which incorporates a number of styles and techniques of animation outside contemporary 3D animation. Techniques such as rotoscoping, stop motion, and traditional hand drawn animation.
Sadly I missed a few snippets of work and clearly some animations featured in the video are much to short to be fully elaborated on. But to make up for it here is a picture of a short called “Mark’s Coming, He’s Bringing the Funk”.
Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
